At LLH, we believe that learning should be seen as a resource for everyone, which is ‘life-long and life-wide’ (UNESCO, 2020). For us, learning should be understood in the very broadest sense. Therefore, we aim to promote and support learning, which occurs within a wide range of formal and informal settings.

We recognize that learning has the power to build confidence and to improve social connection. Our ultimate goal is to contribute to a ‘cultural shift’ (UNESCO, 2020), where continuous learning is seen as the norm, and personal development is encouraged and celebrated.

Our starting point is to provide a central directory of learning opportunities. Beyond this, we wish to motivate and support learners, and to bring people together who wish to continually grow and develop.
